Four Priorities of Life
The first priority of life is to keep good health (Ayu). First, one should know how to live, how to survive. Within that comes yoga or physical exercise, breathing exercises, meditation and relaxation.

Chitta needs to be reconstructed; consciousness needs to be carved anew. The tool to be used is the present moment. Every moment is precious. Be careful of your moments. They are tools in your hands to carve your consciousness. Life can be made very beautiful if we think it is beautiful. We are nothing else but our thoughts. We have closed our minds to our many assets.
When you think YOU are doing it you get tired. When you think DIVINE ENERGY is flowing through you there is no stress and strain. Does fire feel stress and strain in burning?
The yogic theory explains that the sun means your soul and the moon means your mind. As the moon receives the light of the sun and radiates it, similarly, the mind receives light from the soul and is energized. If mind doesn’t receive energy from the soul, it will never be energized or be in its proper place. So, we have to understand the relationship of the mind with the soul.
Ahimsaa will promote peace, happiness, intelligence and will evolve our consciousness. After many lives of fear and violence, it washes away the evil and negative instincts of the mind which are solely responsible for all types of human unhappiness, sickness and crimes.
Doesn't peace include power, bliss, knowledge, and liberation? Dear Soul, why not look for that peace which can bring you all the four? No doubt peace is incarnate in a solitary forest. Where there's no-one to speak to one is compelled to embrace peace. But if noise and unrest abound and yet the mind is calm and peaceful, this is known as the "Peace Real."
One saint wrote: “Welcome all the unhappiness because it reminds us all the time of the nearness and existence of God. We know that we have no help except God. If I have luxury but it is taking me away from the Lord, I do not want that kind of luxury.”
